Card Sketch #140 at  the Sketch-N-Scrap blog:

I used a Paper craft set from Action, love the yellow and black together.

For some added interest, I splattered some liquid watercolor on the cardbase.

Hello baby...

Voor de 7de challenge bij Carlin's Kaartenparadijs moet je een babykaart maken met (droog) embossing.

 

For the 7th challenge at Carlin's Kaartenparadijs you have to make a baby card with (dry) embossing.

 

 

Voor de achtergrond gebruikte ik een embossing folder van Craft Unlimited met grijs papier.

 

For the background I used an embossing folder from Craft Unlimited with some grey cardstock.

 

Ik gebruikte wat stickers uit één van de Wrapping paper, stickers, cards and envelopes. boekjes van bij de Action.

 

I used some stickers form one of the Wrapping paper, stickers, cards and envelopes. books from Action.

 

Voor mijn titel gebruikte ik een stempel die ik al een hele tijd geleden bij de Wibra kocht.

 

For my sentiment I used a stamp that I bought some time ago at Wibra.

Pink flowers...

Voor de 2de challenge van dit jaar bij Knutsels en Kadootjes is het thema een kleurwiel. Super originele challenge! Je kan kiezen tussen twee verschillen kleurwielen één met zwart en één met wit. Ik koos voor het kleurwiel met wit.

 

For the 2de challenge of this year at Knutsels en Kadootjes the theme is a color wheel. Super original challenge! You can choose between two color wheels one with black and one with white. I've chosen the one with white.

 

Na wat nadenken, kwam ik op het idee: roze bloemen, groene blaadjes en blauwe lucht!

 

After some thinking I got the idea: pink flowers, green leaves and blue sky!

 

 

Ik kleurde eerst alles in met wat Memento Dye Inkt die ik gebruikte als waterverf. Daarna bracht ik details aan met mijn Faber-Castelle Goldfaber kleurpotloden.

 

First, I color everything with my Memento Dye Inks that I used as watercolors. After worths I used my Faber-Castelle Goldfaber colored pencils to add some details.

 

 

Om het midden van de bloemen wat donkerder te krijgen gebruikte ik een bruin potlood.

 

To make the centers of my flowers a little darker I used a brown colored pencil.

 

 

Ik heb het paneel met de bloemen wat bijgesneden en op een grijze (bijna) A5 grote kaartbasis aangebracht met dubbelzijdige tape.

 

I've cut the panel with the flowers a bit smaller and taped it to a grey cardbase a little smaller than an A5.

Life is better with you...

I've been very creative with this sketch and I hope I have not been too creative.

 

 

I flipped the sketch upside down and use cacti instead of banners.

 

 

I used a vellum sentiment and used some heart brads to attach it.

Congrats...

...and this is what I came up with.

 

 

My favorite color is orange so I really like this card. I love the cute little bear holding the flowers.

 

 

I popped up the bear and sentiment just a little for some extra dimension.

Flamingo's...

Het thema van deze maand bij Crazy for CAS #13 is Dier. Ik maakte een kaartje met flamingo's op.

 

The theme for this month at Crazy for CAS #13 is Animal. I made a card with flamingo's on.

 

 

Ik maakte mijn eigen achtergrond door flamingo's te stempelen in Memento Dew Drop Angel Pink inkt op roos papier. Ik kleurde mijn flamingo's met mijn kleurpotloden.

 

I made my own background paper by stamping some flamingo's in Memento Dew Drop Angel Pink ink on a pink cardstock. I colored my flamingo's with my colored pencils.

Monkey crazy...

De eerste challenge van het jaar bij Knutsels en Kadootjes draait helemaal om de letter A. Daarom maakte ik dus een kaartje met een aapje op.

 

The first challenge of the year at Knutsels en Kadootjes is all about the letter A. So I made a card with an ape (monkey) on.

 

 

Ik maakte de achtergrond met een stensel en Memento Dew Drops in de kleuren Summer Sky en New Sprout.

 

I made the background using a stencil and Memento Dew Drops in the colors Summer Sky and New Sprout.

 

 

Ik kleurde mijn klein aapje in met mijn kleurpotloden en werkte de kaart af met wat zilveren pailletten.

 

I colored in my little ape with my colored pencils and finished off the card with some silver sequins.
