No black cat...

The 3th challenge at Carlin's Kaartenparadijs has a double theme: black and cat. After thinking about a black cat for some time I decided to do something different.

I decided to color in a stamp with two cats with my alcohol markers. I stuck the colored panel on a black card base with at the top and bottom a colorful rainbow strip.

To finish of my card I used some Glossy Accents on the noses and paws.

Marbleous happy birthday...

When I saw card sketch #131 at the Sketch-N-Scrap blog I immediately thought of a paper pad that I have. It's called Basic Marble from Craft Sensations.

So I made a shiny birthday card.

I love the marbled patterned paper. The pattern continues over the two papers and the paper on the bottom is silver foiled.

I popped up the sentiment panel for some added dimension.

Happy new year...

Card sketch #130 at the Sketch-N-Scrap is another fun one!

I made a clean and simple card. I used a embossing folder on the dark brown card stock. For the three accent papers I used a dark brown glitter paper and two sketchy patterned papers.

For my sentiment I used a nice sketchy happy new year stamp with three stars as accents.

First time at the beach...

For #161 challenge at the Sketch-N-Scrap blog you have to make a layout by this next sketch.

This summer we went to the beach with our dog for the first time. She loved it there, running around and digging holes. So I had to make a layout about it!

I took some shells from the beach with me to decorate my layout and this background paper was just perfect.

I added some cute patterned paper and fun glitter paper. I love the cute little paw prints in the beach sand.

I stamped the first part of the sentiment in some blue ink on some kraft paper. The second part of the sentiment are foam stickers with blue glitter.

Vintage...

I'm not really into the vintage theme. I don't know why but vintage cards often have people on them and I find that kind of creepy ;) ! This is only the second vintage card that I ever made. You can also find the first card here on my blog, a vintage wedding card.

For the challenge at Knutsels en Kadootjes I created this vintage card.

I love the monocle! I used some green yarn and yellow cardstock to make the colors in the hat and bow tie pop. To finish off the card I used some brown ribbon and Glossy Accents on the monocle and nails.

Fall pumpkins...

For Card Sketch #127 at Sketch-N-Scrap you have to follow the next sketch.

If you like this sketch you can enter your card until the end of the month.

This is what I came up with.

The pumpkins are a digital stamp from Mari Ko Creations. Like I told in one of my previous post, I've been obsessed with coloring with my alcohol markers (most of them are from Action).

I also use some fun patterned paper and a die from Craft Unlimited. The fall sentiment is heat embossed.

Happy paint splatters...

I'm always on the lookout for new fun challenges and then I found this one at Carlin's Kaartenparadijs. They are going to work with two themes every challenge.

The themes of the first challenge at Carlin's Kaartenparadijs is:

Anything goes + Anything goes

I had so much fun making this birthday card!

I did the packaging technique with some acrylic spray paints on a textured watercolor paper. I also splattered some of the paint to create a more textured look.

If you don't know what the packaging technique is you have to take a look at Missy Whiddens blog or YouTube. She uses this technique on a lot of her layouts.

I used a beautiful die cut and added a white heat embossed sentiment to finish of the card.

Gerda Steiner Design Team Call...

Gerda Steiner Designs makes fun clear stamps, dies and even digital stamps.

I've been blogging for a while now and want to take it a step further. That's why I'm trying out for the Gerda Steiner Design Team. You never know, right?

I recently got obsessed with coloring in stamped images with my (cheap) alcohol markers. So I used the latest digital freebie from Gerda Steiner Designs to color and make a fun card.

That bear is so cute with his piece of watermelon.

I also want to share some other projects I've been working on in the last month. I got some new clear stamps from Action and got to creating.

The striped background is created with some colorful Sharpies!

I also made a fun friendship card...

… and a cute baby card. (I love animals ;p)

Hello...

For card sketch #125 at the Sketch-N-Scrap blog you have to follow the next sketch.

This is what I came up with…

I real life this card is really bright! The sun is already down but I still wanted to post my card today :) I used some green, white and pink cardstock. On the pink cardstock I used an embossing folder to add some more detail and texture. The green glitter cardstock is really lovely because it doesn't shed!

I used a layered stamp to stamp a rose and some leaves. I popped these up with some foam tape. To finish of my card I heat embossed my sentiment with some white embossing powder.

Our first pic...

For the Simon Says monday challenge of this week you have to create Anything But A Card. I've chosen to make a layout of the first pic of me and my hubby. It's a very ;) very old picture so the quality is not that great but I love this pic.

For the background I used some metallic acrylic paint. I didn't really like how the silver paint looked so I covered the most of it up with my titel and a little cluster on the bottom right. I backed my picture with some crepe paper and a beautiful patterned paper.

For my titel I used a teal painted wood veneer and some cute pink alfastickers.

I also added some black washi tape and a die cut heart and arrow.

For the cluster above the picture I used a gorgeous teal doily, a big heart sticker and a smaller black sticker.

For the cluster at the top of the page I used a camera die cut, some more patterned paper and crepe paper, a teal quote sticker and a small rub-on arrow.

Fot the small cluster at the bottom right I use another teal sticker.

I finished the clusters with some dimensional heart stickers, small heart stickers and some sequins.

Barrage d' Eupen

Another fun scrappy challenge at the Sketch-n-Scrap, sketch #152!

I turned the sketch on its side and this is how it turned  out.

I used a cute small tag and some fussy cut green foiled leaves to embellish the layout.

I printed the titel on some cardstock.
I also used some dark teal washi-tape as an extra accent.

First 10 cards 1 kit...

I love to watch 10 cards 1 kit videos on YouTube and I'd love to subscribe to one of the many kits available but because I live in Belgium the shipping cost are pretty high.

So when I discovered the new Paper Craft Set at Action I was super happy. It has lots of element to make some fun paper projects, so I made 10 cute cards.

This is a photo of what came in the kit...

...and here are all the cute cards!

This was the first card I made with this set. The patterned paper already contained the sentiment. I just popped up a die cut flower next to the sentiment and the card is finished. I'm entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in which the theme for this week is Floral Frenzy!
(I may add some glossy accents to some of my cards but I'm no sure yet.)

The next one is my hubby his favorite. I used the gorgeous patterned paper as a background, popped up a gold foiled tag and finish the card with a popped up flower sticker and a natural twine bow.

Now for my favorite! It was really hard to choose but here it is...

It's a really simple card but that's what I love. I use a stripped background paper, a fabulous succulent wreath and sentiment die cut.

Now for my least favorite card. I fussy cut the big pineapple and popped it up on some white cardstock. For the background I use a strip of fun pineapple patterned paper. The sentiment is made up of a die cut and a sticker.

I tried making cards for different occasions but here's another birthday one. I used a fun background paper and popped up a lot of die cuts to make a fun cluster on the left of the card.

The sentiment is made up of a happy die cut and a happy birthday sticker that I cut up and only used the birthday part of.

This card was inspired by a MFT Card Challenge. I love the flamingo's!

For the next card I used a fun striped background paper and popped up the beautiful owl and sentiment die cut.

Another one of my favorites. I used a gorgeous patterned paper for the background and added a strip of another paper to brake up the busy background.

I popped up a gold foiled tag that I backed with some bleu paper and finish the card with a popped up cactus sticker and a naturel twine bow.

The next card is made with a patterned paper that had this beautiful sentiment on it. I popped up a die cut that coordinated perfectly with the sentiment and the card was finished.

The last card is made up of two patterned papers to created a fun background. I added two popped up die cuts and that was it.

Let me know which one of these card was your favorite in the comments down below!
